How good is the Moon Knight Series?
As part of the phase four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the first season of the Moon Knight series ran from March 30th 2022 to May 4th 2022. The Moon Knight Series has been described by many as the best Marvel series ever and with stellar performances from Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy, it's really difficult not to agree. But how good exactly is this series that has earned praises from different quarters?
Well based on my rankometer, the Moon Knight with an overall rating of 7.2/10 is Marvel's best series so far bettering the likes of WandaVision (7/10),What if (6.8/10), Loki (6.7/10), Hawkeye (6.5/10), The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (6/10) and others. And oh, these are my own ratings though. That been said, what were the short comings that prevented this glorious series from reaching a 10/10 or even a 9/10. Well let's see and judge.

Episode Five
Rating: 9/10
• Slight continuity error. When Marc and Steven visit the room full of people Marc killed at a some point, the camera focuses on Marc and Steven can be seen in the background looking fully at the balancing scales with both hands on his waist. However when the camera cuts back to Steven, he is still turning to look at the scales and has not turned completely to face it as seen in the earlier frame. I'm not sure if you understand this but re-watch the scene and you'll understand what I'm talking about.
• Back to the beginning. When Marc and Steven visit the memory of the moment Steven was created by Marc, Marc's Mum picks a belt to whip young Marc. But as she passes by adult Marc and Steven she casts a she casts a shadow on them which does not make sense since adult Marc and Steven were not actually in the room when the original incident happened. Also Marc's Mum seems to tilt her body slightly to avoid colliding with adult Marc and Steven.
Episode Six
Rating: 8/10
• Ammit supreme versus Khonshu supreme fight scene. Ammit apparently attained her huge size by feeding off the souls of the people in Cairo. No problem right? But Khonshu was also to grow to this size. How come? Does it mean both Ammit and Khonshu are capable of spontaneous growth? That is can they increase in size whenever they want even without feeding on people's souls? What then was the significance of the scene where Ammit consumed the souls of Cairo's residents.
Despite all of these, the Moon Knight is a very good series. The actors just took the acting to another whole level. The visual effects department also deserve massive accolades. They really brought Khonshu's, Ammit's and Taweret's characters to life. The Moon Knight series is still streaming on Disney plus in case you want to re-watch it.
